Zauchensee Skiing Holidays
The popular Austrian ski resort of Zauchensee is part of the Salzburger Sportwelt Ski Area, which offers access to 129 different ski runs. In addition to the skiing in Zauchensee itself (sixty-five kilometers of pistes and 15 ski lifts), a ski Lift Pass allows one access to ski or snowboard in other famous Salzburger Sportwelt resorts, such as Kleinarl, Filzmoos, Goldegg, Alpendorf, Wagrain, Altenmarkt, Radstadt, etc.
Zauchensee is charming and traditional resort-village with an idyllic alpine location at the valley end.

Zauchensee is located only on sixty-five kilometers away from Salzburg, which turns it into a great destination for a ski weekend. It is a cosy resort with a nice combination of traditional and modern accommodation with the unique charm of the alpine region, only on ten kilometers south of Altenmarkt. Zauchensee’s ski area offer great ski slopes, especially for beginners and intermediate skiers and snowboarders. The resort is part of Salzburger Sport World. The nearest airport is this in Salzburg and the nearest trains station in Altenmarkt.
