Radstadt Austria

The Austrian town of Radstadt (~5000 residents), the main hub of the Salzburger land's Ennspongau region, and is situated at 856 meters altitude on a beautiful rocky terrace in the upper Ennstal valley. Radstadt is seven hundred years old town and is only on seventy kilometers away from Salzburg and is easily reachable via the Tauern Autobahn or by train.
Nearest Airport: Salzburg. The town of Radstadt is bordered by the Dachstein massif to the north and the Radstadter Tauern Mounts to the south, which makes it a great starting base for various hiking tours. There are one hundred kilometers of cycle trails with good variety of easy and more difficult routes. The town is also the first stage of the one hundred and fifty kilometers long Ennsradweg cycle route. Other activities in the area include tennis, horse riding, mini golf, as well as many cultural attractions. Radstadt has good variety of hotels, private accommodation, nice restaurants and bars.

Radstadt Skiing Holidays

As a part of the Salzburger Sportwelt skiing area, Radstadt visitors of the town have access to 101 ski slopes. Radstadt itself has only twenty kilometers of skiable pistes the appropriate ski pass will allow one enjoy great snow sports in the other Salzburger Sportwelt resorts.
The 20 kilometers of pistes are served by forty-four snow cannons and the 4 lifts of Radstadt have capacity of 13000 people per hour.
