PERCHTOLDSDORF - HOTELS & TOURIST INFORMATION

Perchtoldsdorf (locally known as Petersdorf) is a former market town and attracts visitors with its many colourful buildings. The town is located in Lower Austria and is famous for its many Heurigen – places where you can taste the local wines and admire the delicious cuisine. Another plus for the place is that it is not really crowded by tourists. Some of the attractions there are a Gothic church and a defense tower dating back to the 16th century. Also great fun is the annual vintners' festival, held in November.
Perchtoldsdorf is situated 18 kilometers away from Vienna and 14 kilometers away from Baden. If you want to gat there you can go first to Liesing (by S-Bahn (train) from the Westbahnhof) and take a taxi to Perchtoldsdorf.
