The Austrian village of Rinn (~ 1400 residents) is a small recreational resort, one of the first climatic health resorts in the foothills of the Tyrolean Alps situated at 920 meters elevation. Rinn is particularly famed for its healthy, ozone rich air and its pure spring water. Rinn is surrounded by beautiful woodlands and there are some great panoramic views of Nordkette Mountain Range, Oberinntal Valley and the Kaiser Massif. The resort’s proximity to Tyrol’s capital of Innsbruck makes it a preferred destination for short holiday breaks and family weekend holidays. The village is also attracting visitors with its golf course, quality hotel accommodation and wellness amenities. Rinn is a perfect place for mountaineers, mountain bikers, golfers and overall active tourists.
Rinn Transportation
The nearest airport to the resort of Rinn is this in Innsbruck only 12 kilometers away. Other airports include these in Munich (160 km) and Salzburg (200km).
Once can also reach Rinn via one of the many daily Post buses (№ 4134) from Innsbruck’s main station.
Many of the accommodation hosts also do offer pick-up service to/from Innsbruck’s train station.
By car:
From East via A12 Autobahn take the exit Hall/Mitte - Tulfes – Rinn.
From the West & North, again via A12 Autobahn, get the exit Innsbruck - Mitte - Aldrans – Rinn.
If arriving from the South via A 13 Autobahn, take the exit Patsch - Lans - Sistrans – Rinn.
