The small village of Ossiach is situated at the shore of Lake Ossiach at 510 meters above the sea level. The holiday village is located in an area of great scenic beauty. At the Ossiach bathing beach one will find plenty of fun and action with the ninety-three meters long water slide with jumps and bumps, where the bravest can reach speeds up to 20 km/h. Other facilities here include: beach volleyball, inline skating, diving platform, children’s playground, as well as and an inflatable iceberg, which can be climbed from three sides.

During the winter Lake Ossiach is like a perfect dream - winter wanderings around the lake shores are pleasure for the soul. For skiing and snowboarding one should go to the skiing area Gerlitzen. When the Lake Ossiach is frozen one can see many ice-skaters on it and of course join them.
Ossiach Transportation
The nearest airport is this in Klagenfurt - only on 35 km, which has direct flight connections to Vienna , Zurich, Frankfurt am Main, etc.
Express train station Villach, has direct train connections from Germany, Switzerland, Italy, Belgium and the Netherlands. Villach is bus connected to all villages at the Ossiacher See.
By car, one can get to Ossiach from Salzburg: “Tauernautobahn” motorway A10 to exit Villach-Ossiacher See, federal road #94, and then from few to several kilometers to the different villages on the Ossiacher See lake.
