Zirl is situated on about ten kilometers from Innsbruck at the bottom of the renowned Zirlerberg Mountain. The small town lies at six hundred and twenty meters altitude along the riverside and has around six thousand inhabitants. Providing its visitors with perfect holiday facilities, Zirl has to offer something for everyone. The region is a sport and entertainment center and the activities here range from outdoor swimming pools to mini golf courses, from climbing, rafting and mountain biking to Nordic skiing and tobogganing. It is also a very good base for exploring the surroundings.
