Waidring Skiing Holidays

As a part of the Schneewinkl skiing area, Waidring offers direct access to twenty-seven kilometers of downhill skiing, with twelve individual pistes, accessed by ten lifts. In addition to the skiing in Waidring itself, ski lift passes allow one to ski and snowboard in other Schneewinkl ski resorts, such as St Johann in Tirol, Kirchdorf in Tirol and  Fieberbrunn - PillerseeTal. The ski area of Waidring, which is especially suitable for beginners and intermediate skiers, also features 190 kilometers of Cross Country trails.

Waidring Transportation

There are 3 nearby airports, Salzburg’s one being the nearest - only an hour drive away, which makes Waidring a convenient for weekend ski trips. Due to its location - in a wide valley between Steinplatte and Loferer Steinberge mountains, Waidring enjoys a great and long ski season - an early winter (November) which ends with the arrival of the Easter.
