NAUDERS - HOTELS & TOURIST INFORMATION

The Austrian ski resort of Nauders is a traditional Western Tirolean village with some great chalet-style hotels and good range of other quality accommodation. 14 of which are rated four star. Nauders (1600 residents) is situated in the Tyroler Oberland (Oberinntal), near the Italian and Swiss border at 1400 meters altitude. The resort is located in the Reschenpass skiing area, and is a village with long snow sports history. Nauders dates from the Roman era and contemporary buildings are not allowed to be constructed in order to be preserved the picturesque and romantic center.

Nauders Skiing Holidays

The Reschenpass ski area has pistes at heights of up to 2850 meters, allowing visitors to ski or snowboard until April on 111 kilometers of well prepared runs (90 kilometers of which with man-made snow - 18 snow cannons), accessed by 30 lifts. There is a great program in the new Nauderixland for children, which will enhance their ski holiday in this beautiful Austrian resort. Nauders is also very suitable for romantic walks and winter hiking. Snowboarders and free riders can have some great fun in the snow parks of Serfaus-Fiss-Ladis skiing area. Nauders has two large ski schools with around 75 ski instructors, offering snow sports lessons in multiple languages. The thirty lifts of the resort are can uplift 16500 riders per hour. The skiing area is particularly suitable for the intermediate skiers and boarders.

There is excellent child-care service in Nauders, as well as great après-ski. This romantic resort is great for couples and family holidays. One will find delicious dishes, apres-ski down at the piste and good bars.

By train one can go to Landeck station, from where to continue by post buses to the village of Nauders.
