The Austrian ski region and the winter resort of Kreischberg itself is a family-friendly ski destination, providing with thirty kilometers of ski slopes, accessed by eleven lifts, as well as snow park and half pipe, ski school, cross country tracks, beautiful snow shoe hiking areas; and other winter activities. The resort has very good snowmaking facilities, which ensure the good snow cover for its visitors.
From the high-alpine parts and ridges down to the family hiking trails the region of Kreischberg provides with a varied terrain for any abilities of skiers and snowboarders, hikers and walkers. This area of Austria has magnificent mountain scenery with the Grebenzen Nature Park and Nockeberge Nationalpark, beautiful alpine pastures, crystal-clear mountain lakes, and also some great natural monuments and cultural tourism attractions.
