Austrian Fieberbrunn is pretty popular ski resort, known for its excellent snow and skiing conditions. The resort itself (4200 inhabitants) is situated at 800 meters altitude, close to the ski slopes, near riverside and lakeside. Fieberbrunn extensive ski area varying between 800 and 2020 meters in elevation comprises pistes of every difficulty level. Fieberbrunn is also very popular and attractive for snowboarders with some great parties and nightlife entertainment. Fieberbrunn - PillerseeTal is part of the Schneewinkl ski area and features direct access to thirty-five kilometers of downhill skiing and 35 individual pistes, accessed by thirteen lifts.  In addition to the skiing in Fieberbrunn only, with ski lift pass one can easily access the Schneewinkl ski resorts of Waidring, St Johann in Tyrol and Kirchdorf.

Fieberbrunn is near 3 airports all within 2 hours drive, so skiing and snowboarding weekends, and short ski vacations to the Fieberbrunn - PillerseeTal ski area are easily realizable. Salzburg Airport is the nearest one - only on one hour by car.
