Portschach /Pörtschach am Wörther See/ is one of the most famous resorts in Carinthia, well-known for its lakeside walks. This is the right place for you if you are a sports lover. There is available water-skiing, sailing, riding, golf many other sports. The place is situated near the shore of the Lake Wörther and has to offer some really comfortable villas. A part of the resort is located on a small peninsula and during the summer there is a burst of colours of the flowers on the lakeside. The resort has train connections with Klagenfurt and Villach – two trains arrive every hour. The trip from these towns to Pörtschach is maximum 15 min. There are also buses from Klagenfurt and if you travel by car from the same town you should take Route 83.
