Thanks to its unique architecture, Bad Blumau is a rare spotlight. Starting with 2000 overnight stays at the beginning, now there are more than 200 000 overnight stays per year in Bad Blumau and it has become one of Austria’s leading tourism communities.
In 2001 the town was the only Styrian community to receive the European Village Renewal Prize and was declared a thermal spa resort. Along with the Hundertwasser thermal spa, worth seeing are Village Museum of Natural Healing, Thermal Hot Springs Park, The Baroque Parish Church Saint Sebastian, the 1000-year-old oak, Styrian castle route, etc.
